Here I am comparing the PS3 Slim to a newer model 80GB Playstation 3. I ran both consoles for 2 hours each and separately too, not simultaneously. I wanted to make sure the room would cool down to the same temperature before starting up the next system.

We didn’t go away for the summer holiday – so I had this holiday money I wanted to spend on something nice. Turned out to be a PS3 and some stuff I got today. Got stuff second hand but also some new things. After this I will have to lie low for a while.

I have recently purchase the PS3 Slim. And for the first time I started it in 30 min the system is hot and so is the fan in the back. So I put in Uncharted and a few minutes later it freezes. So I take the disc out and it was hella hot! I put it in a well ventilated area. I’ve played a xbox 360, wii, original PS3 on the first day and shit like this has never happen! WTF!
